Playing catch up--I'm way behind...
Rome is huge, so I'm glad we're spending a few days here instead of rushing to see everything at once. Still, there's a lot to do and I think we will miss a few of the lesser-known sights.
Today we saw a few more of the biggies, and we started at the Spanish Steps. They're only called that in English--Italians call them la Scalinata.

To me, part of the fun is walked around and finding things you didn't expect.
Inside the basilica
Monuments placed in the wall
Palazzo Montecitorio (from the back), seat of the Chamber of Deputies, Italy's lower house.

Fe inside

This was our last major sight of the day, but we had one more place we had to visit--Fe's favorite fast-food restaurant:
Jollibee meal
Most of the day was gone by the time we got back to our hotel. Lots of walking (and eating) along the way.
